			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Saturday night, bravr director <a title="Shahin Fard" href="http://www.bravr.com/about-us/management-team/shahin-fard/">Shahin Fard</a> teamed up with the Children of Christ charity to reach out to homeless people in London. 25 people ventured out into the backstreets of London with 30 bags with hand-wrapped presents containing: sandwiches, warm clothes, blankets, toothbrush, toothpaste, gloves, cakes, cereals bars, baby wipes, sweets and a booklet with useful numbers and addresses.</p>
<p>Our aim was to distribute presents amongst the homeless in London, listen to what they had to say and forge new friendships.</p>
<p>Shahin, met with Ken a double amputee near the Royal Festival Hall. Ken was extremely grateful for the gifts, especially the warm clothes during the freezing cold temperatures. He was welcomed the opportunity to talk to someone who wanted to listen. Ken had lost both of his legs at the age of 17 in a motorcycle accident. After Ken got married and divorced under bad circumstances he moved in with his Mother in a tiny one bedroom flat in Brixton. Soon after their flat was completely burned down and a few months later his Mum passed away. With all his identification being burnt in the fire, he was forced on to the streets. He was born overseas, so not able to get a birth certificate renewed from his home country. So with no ID and no Passport he&#8217;s not eligible for housing. Sometimes he is placed in temporary accommodation. However, Ken shared horror stories of temporary accommodation that wasn&#8217;t suitable for people with wheelchair access. We were horrified to hear how he had to crawl up stairs to reach accommodation. Despite everything Ken went through in his life, he remained positive and friendly, joking about how a book could be made on his life.</p>
<p>&#8220;The biggest lesson for everyone involved was a common misconception that councils can look after all the homeless in London. Within 30 minutes of being in London we had given out all our gift bags and rushed into nearest shops to buy more sandwiches and necessities. We heard stories of lost identification, short housing lists, overcrowded hostels which are dangerous places especially for women. Homeless women have it the worse with women hiding in fear of being attacked, raped or drug induced for prostitution&#8221;</p>

<p>When posting links on Facebook, it automatically fetches a thumbnail from the website, but sometimes its not the right image, this can be frustrating as the images Facebook chooses may not always reflect the content of the post.</p>

<p>We are very proud of what we have been able to achieve under the equals3 banner since we founded the business in 2006. However we want to create a brand that we can grow into over the next 5-10 years that provides a clear differentiation for future activity. We believe we have found that in bravr.</p>
<p>The new brand is intended to represent our attitude to client work. We want to help our clients to be braver about their digital marketing expectations and the results they hope to achieve from them. We constantly push ourselves to deliver more for you, our clients, and this ethos also applies to the activity and results that we expect.</p>
<p>equals3 as a brand was shared by several other companies including Ray William Johnson a famous youtuber. It wasn&#8217;t a brand we could grow or shout about client wins. It took the management team several months to come up with the new brand name bravr, and we really like it.</p>
